solution

Investments

  • An optimized TOTEX (Total Expenditure) throughout the infrastructure lifecycle
  • Fully prefabricated, adjustable, and interchangeable
  • Significant gains in platform sizing

Modularity & Adaptability

  • No resizing of existing hydraulic structures
  • Easy and rapid installation with existing installation equipment, including gantries and machinery used on ballasted tracks
  • Optimized installation schedule and reduced energy consumption

Durability

  • The only low-carbon concrete slab track > 31% reduction in carbon footprint compared to ballasted track
  • Resilient solution to climate risks (flooding and track sedimentation)
  • Low environmental impact throughout the entire lifecycle
Made in France

Designed and
prefabricated in France

Conçu et préfabriqué en France
A design and prefabrication methods made in France by two leaders in their markets: SYSTRA and B-RAIL. Assuring the excellence of French expertise in the railway sector.

Design

  • Modular fabrication
  • Reduced track width (2.5 m) compared to ballasted track (4 m)
  • No platform refurbishment required prior to track installation
  • Platform settlement compensation
  • Track geometry correction: Integrated adjustment system allowing compensation for platform settlement up to 100 mm in height
  • Speed increase : Improved lateral resistance
  • Same permeability as ballasted track, avoiding the need to resize existing hydraulic structures

Manufacturing

  • Fully prefabricated reinforced concrete structure
  • Modular, adjustable, and interchangeable element
  • No sealing products used on site
  • Integrated adjustment
  • The only low-carbon concrete slab track
  • Designed according to EUROCODE standards

Installation

  • Fast and easy installation with good performance
  • Use of existing installation equipment such as gantries for ballasted tracks and construction machinery
  • Optimized installation schedule and reduced energy consumption

Maintenance

  • Very low maintenance compared to ballasted track, ensuring high track availability
  • Easy renewal and dismantling without destruction
  • Simple isolated element replacement
  • Monitoring by sensors and connected devices

Focus on the technology

Voie sur dalle
  • Low-carbon concrete slab and precast supports
  • The foundation adapts to different types of existing platforms
  • The system architecture allows a minimum curve radius of 150 meters
  • The fastening systems and rails are those commonly used in slab track systems
  • Raising the track above the platform (between 10 and 15 cm) allows water to pass during flooding
  • Reduces sand accumulation
  • Enables small wildlife to pass through
  • Polyurethane supports
  • The track geometry adjustment system is permanently integrated into the structure. It allows for compensation of platform settlements up to 100 mm vertically and also provides horizontal adjustment of the track axis up to 15 mm

The integrated adjustment system allows for correction of track geometry and compensation for platform settlement.
